We support charities that are aligned to our values and, to that end, we have selected Acorns in Walsall as our chosen charity.
Here is some information about the excellent work they do:
Established in 1988, Acorns Children’s Hospice Trust is a registered charity offering a network of care for life limited and life threatened babies, children and young people and their families, across the heart of England.
The children and young people that Acorns help are not expected to reach adulthood and require specialist care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Acorns in the Black Country is located in Walsall. Opened in June 1999, the hospice has ten bedrooms, a family care suite and three bedrooms for families and friends to stay. Acorns in the Black Country provides a home-from-home environment where each child receives a tailor-made package of individual care.

Through sponsoring Connect at Walsall College we will be offering a wide range of practical advice for new businesses such as creating a business plan, operating as a sole trader, start-up funding, setting up a company, financing , day-to-day running of a business and a whole lot more.
Starting your own business requires careful planning, research and preparation and we will be providing advice on how to get a business off the ground and moving in the right direction.
We are excited to be sponsoring Connect and getting involved with new business start-ups in the region. It promises to be an exciting venture!
